FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
No, our singing is a cappella—without instruments—because the New Testament describes Christians singing, but does not mention using instruments in worship (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16). We seek to follow the example of the early church and honor God's Word by doing only what is found in Scripture.
-
Our services are led by faithful male members of the congregation. This includes leading prayers, singing, preaching, and serving the communion. We follow the pattern found in the New Testament and believe this is the order God has established for worship (1 Timothy 2:8–12, 1 Corinthians 14:34–35).
-
We observe the Lord’s Supper each first day of the week, following the example in Acts 20:7. It is a central part of our worship where we remember Christ’s sacrifice through one loaf and one cup, as described in 1 Corinthians 10:16–17.
-
We use one cup and one loaf to reflect the example given in Scripture. Jesus gave “the cup” to His disciples (Mark 14:23), and Paul spoke of partaking of “the one bread” (1 Corinthians 10:17), symbolizing our unity in Christ.
-
Absolutely—visitors are welcome to observe without any pressure to participate. During communion and collection, you’re not expected to partake unless you choose to do so.
-
We do not offer a separate children’s church or Sunday school during worship. Instead children of all ages, including babies, are welcome with their families in the assembly with their families. We welcome and encourage them to be part of our worship. Matthew 19:13-14

Pew Bibles are written in the New American Standard Version. However, many of our members use translations like the King James Version (KJV), New King James Version (NKJV), or English Standard Version (ESV). You’re welcome to bring whichever version you’re most comfortable with.

There is no dress code. Most people wear modest, respectful clothing—some more formal, some more casual. Come as you are.
